Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services offered by Apex Book Media ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Services

Apex Book Media provides book marketing services including, but not limited to, press release writing and distribution, Amazon listing optimization, review outreach, media placement, and book launch campaign management. The specific services and deliverables for each client are outlined in the individual service agreement or proposal provided at the time of engagement.

2. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full or as specified in your service agreement before work commences.
  • All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • We accept major credit cards and bank transfers.
  • Late payments may result in a pause or cancellation of active campaigns.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of marketing services, all sales are final once work has commenced. If we are unable to begin work for any reason attributable to Apex Book Media, a full refund will be issued. Partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for work not yet started at the time of cancellation.

4. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to deliver effective services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your book and author platform
  • Respond to our communications in a timely manner
  • Ensure you hold all necessary rights to the content we are marketing on your behalf
  • Not engage in any activity that could compromise the integrity of our campaigns

5. Intellectual Property

All marketing materials, press releases, and content created by Apex Book Media on your behalf become your property upon full payment. We retain the right to reference the campaign in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.

6. Results Disclaimer

While we strive to deliver the best possible outcomes, Apex Book Media cannot guarantee specific results such as a defined number of reviews, media placements, or sales figures. Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions and the quality of the book itself.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apex Book Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement with written notice. In the event of termination, fees for work already completed are non-refundable. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if a client engages in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
